Manipur State Information Technology Society (MSITS) was established in June 28th, 2008 under Section 7(1) of the Manipur Societies Registration Act 1989 (Manipur Act I of 1990). It is under the administrative control of Department of Information Technology (DIT), Govt. of Manipur and is the State Designated Agency/Implementing Agency for all National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) projects in the State of Manipur.
